This service is for you if you would like to design your space yourself but want some guidance on where to begin.
Four hours together will give you the clarity and confidence you need to enhance the look and feel of your space.
It starts before we meet
Every consultation begins with a pre-consultation questionnaire. It asks about where you are from, the places that mean something to you, the objects you cannot part with, and how you actually move through your home day to day.
The points you share are researched; if you are from a particular region, we look into how people build and live there, the materials used, the crafts, the motifs, the colours of the landscape itself. We also look into the property you live in and where it is situated. That research is what we bring to the consultation, so we arrive with a point of view unique to you.
What we cover on the day
What we cover is tailored to your needs and includes advice and recommendations on the following:
A colour palette you could use based on your background, your property, and where it is situated.
Furniture layout and how the room could work
Flooring and window treatments
The types of furniture and materials worth considering, and why
What you are left with
A written summary of the consultation and the key decisions made, sent within five working days. It is the thing you refer back to when you are standing in a shop or briefing a decorator, and it is what makes it possible to carry the work forward yourself.
What it does not include
This service is advice, not documentation. It does not include measured drawings, mood boards, or a shopping list. If you would like a scheme worked up in full and specified room by room, the Full Scheme Service is the better fit.
Booking
A 50% deposit holds your date, with the balance due after the consultation. Consultations are booked around two weeks ahead, which gives us time to order and prepare samples chosen specifically for your home.

Rather than handing you a direction and leaving you to interpret it, we take that research and turn it into specified decisions.
A colour drawn from a landscape becomes a named paint. A material that carries meaning becomes a listed product with a supplier next to it.
Price on Application
Fully managed renovation and design of an existing property, or a new build. No two projects of this kind are alike, which is why the fee is quoted against the scope rather than listed.
